Layabout Initium Novum of MCFP
Init has a very soft coat and is quite big, he got a very gentle curious temper, and he is just a happy-go-lucky boy, who gets along with other cats outside the litter.
Init got a better boning than his brother and sister. This litter is very playful and energetic. Out of the three kittens, Init is the most docile.
He is very sweet and compliant. If they escape the playpen area, which they have multiple times, he is the first to “let” me get him, as he comes to get love.

This is for the Port Huron Siblings:
The blue-cream with white mother (endearingly called “Kiwi”) and the mackerel tabby father of the Michigan siblings were given shelter by a caring family who wanted to help a local farm with an established colony of longhairs, more distant relations assumed, but unknown.

A friend of the family delivered the two parents to the family’s doorstep. Though the family had good intentions, they did not spay or neuter the parents, and their mating resulted in the beautiful litter of both solid and tabby pattern babies, including a tortoiseshell female that was kept by the family, a black and white female, a red mackerel tabby male, and a red classic tabby male.

Because of the lack of finances able to give medical care to the cat and kittens, I advised the family to spay their remaining females and keep them indoors. The father had run away.
The family had emotional ties to the mother, Kiwi, and did not let her leave with the kittens; however, the family took advice on a local spay and neuter program available.

The two male kittens and the black and white female are now the established F1 foundation cats under MCFP, including Layabout Initium Novum of MCFP (residing with Malin Sundqvist, owner of the cattery Dagdrivarn), Julius of MCFP (residing with Sheila Haskins, co-founder of MCFP and owner of the cattery Coonopry), and Annabel Lee of MCFP (residing with Olivia Speicher (founder of MCFP and owner of the cattery Kitty in the City).
